Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws and cutting equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal components. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes. The Saw Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Operate saws and cutting equipment, Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in cuts. Perform routine maintenance on saws and cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble components as needed and assist with welding tasks when required. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the cutting process and make necessary adjustments. Qualifications Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within the metal fabrication industry. Familiarity with various cutting techniques, including laser cutting, plasma cutting, and press brake machine operations. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Proficient in using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Experience with CNC machinery and lathe operations is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
