Full-time / Day Shift Penmac Staffing is hiring a dependable Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing facility. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, operating fabrication equipment, and being part of a team that takes pride in producing high-quality metal components. Machine Operator Responsibilities As a Machine Operator, you will operate fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, rolls, and brakes to cut, shape, and bend metal parts used in manufacturing tank systems.

Key duties include:

Reading job specifications and blueprints to determine machine settings and material layout Setting guides, stops, and tooling to required measurements Positioning materials accurately and operating machines using buttons or foot pedals Monitoring machine performance and inspecting parts for quality and accuracy Measuring finished parts and removing burrs or sharp edges Following MOPs, SWIs, and all safety procedures Maintaining a clean and organized work area Operating a forklift safely when required Performing other related duties as assigned Requirements for the Machine Operator High school diploma or GED Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions Basic math skills and experience using measuring tools and hand tools Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in a team environment Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines Ability to safely operate industrial equipment Physical & Work Environment This role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 45 pounds. The work environment includes moving machinery, loud noise, temperature variations, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
