Adecco is assisting a major client in their search for a Machine Operator in Parsons, KS. This is a contract opportunity, offering weekly pay and an opportunity to expand your experience. Dedicated Onboarding Specialist & Recruiter Job Description :
A Machine Operator will operate assigned machine(s) with certification to run one basic machine center without assistance and complete OMP (operator maintenance program) for the machine(s). Responsibilities include but are not limited to : + Work in one or more process paths; receiving, picking, packing, or shipping. + Operates assigned machine(s), including resistance welding machines, brake presses, and mechanical power presses. + Within first ninety (90) days of employment, obtain certification from the Learning Management System ( LMS ) to run one basic machine center. + Demonstrates ability to complete OMP for assigned machine within first ninety (90) days of employment. + Operates saws, drills, and grinders. + Consistently meets production requirements. + Performs other duties as assigned. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered: + HS Diploma/ GED strongly preferred + 1+ years of experience in assembly/machine operation. + Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. + Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting. + Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, counting and the use of tape measure. + Ability to communicate/read/write in English
