Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise will ensure that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely, adhering to all quality standards and safety protocols. Duties Operate and monitor various industrial machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to accurately set up and run machinery. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, shop math, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery in accordance with safety standards in production. Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and fabrication drawings for assembly and manufacturing processes. Utilize tools such as hand tools and tooling to assist with machine setup or minor repairs as needed. Maintain detailed records of production activities, quality control checks, and machine performance logs. Support packaging operations by ensuring finished products meet quality specifications before shipment. Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), SolidWorks or similar software for design verification. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is highly preferred. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and shop math is essential. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including stamping, fabrication, assembly, and packaging is advantageous. Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment effectively using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards in production environments. Basic understanding of CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar design tools is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints for fabrication or assembly tasks. Experience with forklift operation is a plus but not mandatory; certification preferred if applicable.
