•and 48-hour weeks Overtime eligible after 40 hours Night-shift employees will initially train on the day shift Training is expected to last several weeks to approximately one month Job Summary We are seeking a safety-minded Machine Operator to operate and monitor industrial production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing or machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, basic measurement skills, and the ability to recognize and address equipment or safety concerns. Employees will work with large-scale paper processing equipment and must be comfortable using a ruler or measuring tape and working with basic measurements. Strong spatial awareness, communication skills, and situational awareness are important for success in this position. Machine & Measurement Skills Operate and work around industrial paper processing equipment. Read and understand measurements using a ruler or measuring tape. Work with measurements including 1½-inch and 5/8-inch dimensions. Understand basic fractions, decimals, and other measurements. Maintain strong attention to detail and spatial awareness. Safety Expectations Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety. Follow established safety policies and procedures. Recognize potentially unsafe conditions and take appropriate action. Report equipment or process concerns to the appropriate personnel. Demonstrate good situational awareness and willingness to speak up when an issue is identified. Job Duties Set up and operate coating, slitting, metalizing, and/or sheeting equipment. Load rolls of paper and other materials onto production equipment. Set up machines within established tolerance requirements. Monitor equipment and make necessary operating adjustments. Operate overhead hoists, forklifts, trucks, dollies, and other material-handling equipment as required. Follow production schedules, work orders, specifications, checklists, and verbal instructions. Monitor product quality throughout the production process. Monitor equipment condition and verify that process-control devices are functioning properly. Perform product testing to ensure materials meet established specifications. Identify equipment malfunctions, process issues, and unusual conditions and report them appropriately. Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities. Maintain clean and organized machines and work areas according to established standards. Follow workplace organization and 5S practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance. Ability to perform machine setups and operations using established procedures and sound judgment. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to read and understand safety procedures and basic production documentation. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, and simple formulas. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Strong attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong safety awareness and situational awareness. Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including alternating 36

•and 48-hour workweeks. Flexibility to complete initial training on the day shift before transitioning to nights, if applicable. #CNX100

$22.00
