Our location in Newburyport, Massachusetts is currently looking for a dependable and motivated Production Mixer to join our team. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Accumulate all pre-approved ingredients from production bins. Accurately document materials used for each mix and totals for the shift. Record lot codes, batch information, and waste logs on batch tickets. Ensure materials are properly stored according to formulas and build sheets. Monitor ingredient temperatures as required. Keep mixing bowls and carts clean and free of excess material between mixes. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized mixing area throughout the shift. Ensure mixes remain free of foreign objects or contamination. Report unsanitary conditions or defective equipment before use. Clean and maintain utensils, worktables, equipment, and production floors. Follow proper lifting and carrying procedures and request assistance when necessary. Report material overuse or discrepancies with formulas and build sheets. Keep materials covered and properly stored when not in use. Safely operate mixers and blending equipment according to established procedures. Notify the Supervisor, Production Manager, or Quality Technician of ingredient or finished-product quality concerns. Follow the company's food allergen program and proper storage procedures. Follow approved formulas exactly and do not make changes without authorization from the R&D department. Follow all product quality standards, policies, and procedures. Follow SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices to help maintain a safe workplace and produce safe, high-quality products. Perform additional duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Team Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food manufacturing environment ; bakery experience is preferred. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read and understand instructions, correspondence, formulas, and production documentation. Ability to communicate effectively in English and complete written documentation. Ability to communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, Quality, and R&D team members. Flexibility to work various hours and shifts as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety, quality, and sanitation. Required Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Must also be able to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret basic bar graphs. #MSSche
