Job Description
•Position needed for 2nd shift•Newly Weds Foods makes food coatings for some of the biggest brand names in the country! We are hiring for our manufacturing plant in Watertown which is a Breading and Batter plant some production positions for second shift. The production worker p erforms functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders by dumping ready to package product to the Hopper on packaging lines. Verifies ingredients being Dumped Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed Dumps blended ingredients or products into Hopper as per job order. Frequent pushing / pulling of drums weighing over 100 lbs. Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/bags onto a pallet. Requires lifting up to 25 - 55 lbs. continuously. Required to assist in bagging of product as needed. Requires pushing/pulling up to 55+ lbs. Maintains packaging standards. Completes paperwork as needed. Must maintain integrity of product. Must assist in inventory and cycle counts Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment. Other duties as assigned by supervisor
