job summary: Seeking a Compression Technician on 1st shift for a high growth manufacturing company in the Woburn, MA area. The Compression Tech would be responsible for verifying all necessary resources, utilize precision measuring tools, and assist with machine setups, operations, and routine maintenance to ensure the high-quality processing and inspection of parts. Prepare materials, set up equipment, and perform basic machining and assembly (extrusion, molding, trimming, splicing).

Quality Control:

Inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, verniers) to ensure optimal output and specifications.

Maintenance & Safety:

Perform routine machine maintenance and 5S tasks; adhere to PPE requirements in specialized environments.

Documentation:

Complete daily production reports and metrics accurately and on time.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and communicate technical issues to leadership and engineering teams.

Continuous Improvement:

Support LEAN initiatives, High-Performance team goals, and cross-functional training.

Logistics:

Package finished products for downstream departments to ensure workflow completion.
