Oakland Park, FL Job Summary We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to assist with cutting and preparing structural steel materials for production. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is comfortable using measuring tools, and wants to learn machine operation in a fabrication environment. Responsibilities Operate saws and other shop equipment to cut steel materials to specified lengths. Measure and mark materials using tape measures and other measuring tools. Read work orders and cutting lists to ensure accurate production. Load and unload materials from machines safely. Perform quality checks to verify dimensions and specifications. Assist with machine setup and basic operation. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Work with team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Basic math skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
