Powder Room Operator Location:
Westminster, MD Shift:
1st Shift | 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM (9/80 Schedule, Off every other Friday)
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hour Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Powder Room Operator to support material blending and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring mixing equipment, maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, and ensuring accurate production documentation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor machines used for mixing and blending materials. Ensure consistency and quality throughout the mixing process. Perform routine equipment inspections and address potential issues promptly. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Follow established safety procedures when handling chemicals and production materials. Support compliance with company quality standards and operating procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred. Experience operating blending, mixing, or processing equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Relevant vocational or technical training is a plus. Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, masks, gloves, and lab coats as needed.
