Truss Builder | Sawyer | Material Handler 1st & 2nd Shift Positions Available! Position Summaries Truss Builder The Truss Builder is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses according to engineered drawings and company specifications. We are looking for dependable candidates with previous truss building, construction, carpentry, or manufacturing experience who can contribute to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused production environment. Sawyer The Sawyer is responsible for operating lumber saws and accurately cutting lumber to specifications for truss and panel production. This position helps maintain production flow by preparing materials, organizing cut lumber, and following all safety and quality standards. Material Handler - Components The Material Handler is responsible for safely operating a forklift to move and organize materials throughout the yard and production areas. Materials may include lumber, OSB, roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood products (EWP). This position plays an important role in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring materials are stored, organized, and delivered where they are needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, truss building, carpentry, or material handling preferred Ability to read and follow measurements, specifications, and technical drawings Basic understanding of hand and power tools Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 75 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Working Conditions Work performed in a manufacturing facility and outdoor yard environment Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and snow Frequent standing, bending, lifting, walking, and moving materials throughout the shift Fast-paced production environment Team-oriented workplace requiring communication and adaptability Overtime may be available based on production needs Shift Availability 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Available!
