We are seeking a Machine Operator who is responsible for safely operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment to produce quality components that meet Alkon's production, safety, and quality standards. This position ensures machines are running efficiently, parts meet dimensional specifications, and productivity targets are achieved. The Machine Operator works closely with manufacturing leads and quality personnel to support continuous improvement and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Essential Functions
  • Following training, operator will operate multiple machines concurrently, demonstrating strong attention to detail, efficiency and adhere to safety protocols
  • Measure and inspect finished products using appropriate measuring tools to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality specifications
  • Record production data as required vis Workbench
  • Maintain productivity levels that meet established standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures and properly use required PPE
  • Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to read work instructions and follow written and verbal directions
  • Basic ability to use measuring instruments (hard gauges)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift and carry minimum 35 pounds of material throughout the shift
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, including up to 10 hours per day
  • Must be able to frequently bend, reach, and repetitive hand movements & walk through shift Hours of Operation Normal business hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm.
