Job Description

Dextech has immediate openings for Parts Processors in our Inspection and Packaging Department. We are seeking entry-level candidates with strong mechanical skills, a willingness to grow, and excellent attendance. These are second-shift positions, though training is typically completed on the first shift. Please note that the manufacturing environment is subject to seasonal temperature changes, where it can be hot during the summer months and cooler during the winter months.
Job Summary:
Parts Processors will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery and hi-lo equipment to ensure efficient production. Maintain machine operation, inspect finished goods for quality, and follow safety procedures and accurately record production activities. Parts Processors also assist with transporting materials as applicable.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain packaging machines. Perform manual adjustments as needed. Palletize and prepare cartons. Construct and label boxes for order fulfillment. Verify the accuracy of packaged parts. Properly label and identify all products. Operate hi-lo equipment to assist with material handling. When problems arise, communicate concerns to appropriate parties. Follow 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, efficient working environment. Break down dunnage Other duties as assigned.
Growth & Advancement:
Employees are eligible for a $0.50 per hour wage increase every 90 days until they reach the top rate for their department. We also provide extensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401(k) plan.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to understand and interpret shop math. Working knowledge of quality procedures. Proficient in reading and writing English When to understand to get help/ leadership communication Ability to complete computerized check sheets or the willingness to learn Basic computer navigation skills
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing or walking. Comfortable working on the manufacturing shop floor. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Continuous bending, twisting, and reaching above the shoulder.
