Job Responsibilities:

Operate a block palletizing machine at the end of the production line. Monitor the machine as it automatically handles and stacks finished concrete blocks, while inspecting products and removing any blocks that do not meet quality standards.

Job Duties:

• Operate and monitor automated block palletizing equipment.
• Remove defective, damaged, or improperly processed blocks from the production line.
• Inspect blocks for cracks, chips, breaks, surface defects, or other quality issues.
• Ensure properly processed blocks are palletized and stacked correctly by the machine.
• Monitor the palletizing process and report equipment or production issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and stacking materials throughout the plant.
• Handle concrete blocks that may weigh approximately 30-50 pounds.
• Work with blocks that may be wet or contain visible granite material.
• Perform repetitive lifting, moving, and handling of blocks throughout the shift.

Skills and qualifications:

• Ability to stand for 10+ hours a day.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, bend, squat, reach, pull, balance, crawl, work in confined spaces, and be able to lift and maneuver 30 - 50 pounds regularly.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, heat, loud noise and vibration, weather conditions and wet and/or humid conditions.
