The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring heat-treating equipment used to process steel components according to production and quality standards. This position involves loading and unloading materials, performing routine equipment checks, monitoring temperatures and process controls, and maintaining a safe work environment. Operators are also responsible for operating forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility. Additional duties include completing production documentation, conducting quality inspections, and assisting with general housekeeping and safety initiatives.
