  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards and production schedules. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to read blueprints accurately. Duties Operate laser cutting machines for precision fabrication of sheet metal components. Unloading completed parts and removing excess material. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications. Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Measure parts using tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience Proven experience in operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Proficient in blueprint reading and basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Experience with setup and programming will be considered an asset.
