Job Description
Job Title:
Machine Operator Responsibilities Operate production machinery according to work instructions and specifications. Responsible for general maintenance of the machines, including checking oil levels and monitoring tool wear. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation. Load raw materials and ensure proper machine feeding during production runs. Perform routine inspections of parts to ensure they meet quality standards. Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate more complex problems as needed. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.Pay Rate:
Day Shift/Night Shift:
$17/hr Pay increase to $18-$19/hr after 90 days. Pay increase to $20-$22/hr upon ability to run multiple machines at once.Schedule:
Rotating 2-2-3Day Shift:
6AM-6PM Night Shift:
6PM-6AM 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next week - rotating 12 hour shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milan, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
