Job Description

Company in Belmont, MI hiring for Assembly.
Shift:
days Mon-Fri 6a-2p
Pay:
$20.00/hr. Assemble, modify, and rework products, components, and subassemblies in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Interpret and utilize assembly drawings, schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and other technical documentation. Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and specialized equipment. Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections to verify product quality and compliance with customer and engineering requirements. Identify, document, and communicate product defects, discrepancies, and process issues to supervisors, quality personnel, or engineering teams in a timely manner. Accurately complete production records, quality documentation, and other required reports. Adhere to all company safety policies, manufacturing procedures, and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area in accordance with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Consistently meet established productivity, quality, and delivery expectations. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education. Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment preferred.
