Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented machine operator to join our team specializing in the production of small silicone components for the medical industry. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and steady hands to assemble and inspect tiny silicone parts in a highly clean environment. Responsibilities Operate machines and inspect small silicone parts for the medical industry. Use a clicker press to trim flash from parts and ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with a team to set up the workstation efficiently. Complete job sheets accurately, including part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in machine operator Proficiency in using microscopes for inspection and assembly. Ability to perform repetitive, detailed tasks for extended periods. Basic arithmetic skills for completing job sheets. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in part trimming and inspection. Familiarity with plastic injection and quality assurance processes. Work Environment Work in a small-scale manufacturing company based in Saginaw, Michigan, known for its incredibly clean facilities that comply with medical regulations. Initial training is on the 1st shift, Monday to Friday from 5 am to 3:15 pm. After three months of training, transition to the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday from 3 pm to 1:15 am, with a 30-minute paid lunch. The company has low to zero turnover due to high compensation and stability. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saginaw, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
