Set-Up Technician:

You'll be: Performing start-ups and changeovers of production runs using efficient methods to minimize scrap and downtime Setting up and operating Single, Dual, and Tri Extrusion production lines Completing multiple tooling changes during an 8-hour shift Installing, adjusting, and troubleshooting various die types, including Streamline, Flat Back, and Button dies Setting up and operating sizing systems such as Profile Plates in Water Tanks, Vacuum Calibration Systems, and Air Racks with Plates Setting up and monitoring in-line lamination systems (PSA and HATS) Operating and adjusting in-line cutting equipment, including Fly Knife Cutters, Puller/Cutter Combos, Saws, Guillotine Cutters, and Rotary Cutters Performing in-line punching, laser marking, and inkjet printing operations Responding promptly to Andon board requests to support production and minimize downtime Assisting with troubleshooting and training to ensure team members are meeting customer needs Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe work area following 6S standards Communicating effectively with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and other support teams This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma or GED (required) Possess previous manufacturing experience (extrusion setup experience preferred) Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot production equipment Can read and follow work instructions, production documents, and specifications Are comfortable using basic computer skills, including data entry and navigation of internal software systems Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and management Are able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Can lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing environment What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
