Must be able to work as a part of a team to achieve the company's overall goals Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills (English) Must be able to meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects Must demonstrate production competency and knowledge of production systems Must be able to rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as deemed necessary Set up, operate, and monitor SMT equipment, such as pick-and-place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, and laser etcher. Load components, feeders, and solder paste onto machines according to production specifications. Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate placement of components on circuit boards. Perform machine setups and changeovers for different production runs, including loading new programs and adjusting feeders. Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot minor machine issues, such as feeder jams or placement errors, and escalate complex problems to technicians or supervisors. Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials like solder paste. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient production environment. Must able to physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds Must possess successful problem solving skills Competencies Communication Proficiency. Organizational Skills. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
