Utility Technician

Set up and start injection molding machines, ensuring they are calibrated to meet production specifications. Monitor machine operations to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently, making adjustments as necessary. Identify and troubleshoot issues with machines, materials, or processes to prevent defects and downtime. Perform regular maintenance on machines and equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts. Maintain effective communication with co-workers and supervisors to ensure a smooth workflow and adherence to safety regulations. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure that all operations comply with industry standards and company policies regarding safety and quality. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting injection molding machines and understanding of materials and processes involved in plastic manufacturing. Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and report on production status. Stage and move materials to production areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists. Maintain accurate inventory records and properly label and store materials. Ensure consistent material flow during production runs and remove scrap material. Monitor and perform basic quality checks, reporting defects or discrepancies Load and replenish raw materials such as resins, colorants, and additives into machines .

Pay:

$15.50 - $16.00 per hour
