POSITION SUMMARY
Provide production support by performing setup, troubleshooting and operation of automatic presses, machining cells within a production facility. Implement best practices and proactively assess manufactured parts and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS
Follow all safety procedures and protocols while servicing or maintaining equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting presses, dies, machines, fixtures, miter saws, automatic saws and other various manufacturing equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in changing over presses, machines, miter saws, automatic saws, dies and other various manufacturing equipment using QDC/QSU practices Execute with proficiency all duties and responsibilities required of a setup technician. Prioritize tasks related to machine troubleshooting and set-up; coordinate activities with production. Demonstrate basic proficiency in troubleshooting using electrical and mechanical prints. Perform and critique equipment preventative maintenance. Troubleshoot electrical components such as sensors and proximity switches. Read blue prints and part drawings. Troubleshoot Poka Yoke systems and applications. Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, LMM and other measuring instruments. Maintain an organized and safe workspace using 5S principles.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Two-year technical degree (preferred) Experience with Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work up to 10 hours per day, including mandatory Saturdays Must be able to obtain hi-lo and aerial platform licenses Excellent verbal communication skills (preferred)
Work Schedule:
2nd shift, Monday-Friday, plus weekends as needed
