Our standard business hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with flexibility available based on the employee's schedule and business needs.

Pay:

$19-$21 per hour Employment type: Full-time or part-time, hourly W-2 position. Weekly hours and schedule will be determined based on the candidate's availability and business needs. Position Summary Piccolo Precision Products is looking for a dependable, motivated person who wants to build a career in precision manufacturing. No previous machining experience is required. We will provide paid, hands-on training under the guidance of an experienced machinist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with tools, understanding how things are made, and producing accurate, high-quality work. Responsibilities Learn safe shop practices and follow all safety procedures Assist with setting up and operating CNC machining equipment under supervision Learn to read blueprints, work instructions, and basic specifications Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality Load materials and monitor machines during production Keep machines and work areas clean and organized Complete production and inspection documentation Ask questions, accept feedback, and steadily develop machining skills Perform other shop duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old due to shop safety requirements No machining experience required Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing Basic math skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Careful attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Willingness to learn and work as part of a small team High school diploma or equivalent preferred Prior experience with tools, automotive work, manufacturing, construction, robotics, or technical coursework is helpful but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds Ability to wear required personal protective equipment Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment, metalworking fluids, noise, and metal chips Reasonable accommodations may be provided to qualified individuals What We Offer Paid, hands-on machining training Direct mentoring from an experienced machinist Opportunities to learn CNC machining, blueprint reading, inspection, and precision measurement Regular performance and skill-development reviews Piccolo Precision Products Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
