Hours:

12-Hour Shift Schedules Shift A & Shift B (Day): 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Shift C & Shift D (Night): 6:00 pm - 6:00 am Benefits of the extruder operator: Clear tiered pay growth (Trainee up to Class AA) Hands-on training provided in industrial vertical extrusion and packaging manufacturing Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance plans Long-term career development and skill advancement opportunities Stable full-time hours in a supportive, safety-focused shop environment Duties of the extruder operator: Set up, operate, and monitor vertical extrusion machinery to manufacture packaging products Conduct inline quality checks, identify print or structural defects, and log daily production metrics Stage raw materials, maintain clean extruder work zones, and execute shift handoff reports Climb machine stairways and work comfortably on elevated platforms while adhering to GMP, SQF, and PPE rules Requirements of the extruder operator: Basic math proficiency and understanding of both imperial and metric measurement systems Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs. and work comfortably at heights on elevated platforms Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to follow instructions and complete logs High School Diploma or GED equivalent Ability to stand and walk throughout full 12-hour production shifts Additional information: Take the next step in your industrial career!
