1st Shift | 8:00 AM-4:30
PM Schedule:
Monday-Friday Pay:
$16.00-$22.00/hr,

Full-Time | Trial-to-Hire About This Opportunity We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Wire Processing Machine Operator to join our client's team in Blaine, MN! This position is responsible for processing various wires and cables used in the assembly of cable and wire harnesses. You will work closely with the Production and Quality teams to ensure products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and according to customer specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with equipment, learning new skills, and being part of a team. What You'll Be Doing Set up and operate automated wire processing equipment, including Komax and Schleuniger machines Process various wires and cables accurately while minimizing scrap Read and interpret manufacturing and engineering documents, including work instructions, assembly drawings, wiring schematics, diagrams, and bills of materials Perform quality control checks and verify and record data on work orders Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on equipment to maximize equipment uptime Maintain accurate inventory counts on department materials Communicate effectively with Production team members to clarify instructions, processes, and quality concerns Help meet customer delivery and quality specifications Keep work areas, equipment, and tools organized and clean Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving efficiency, scrap, and yield Assist with additional projects and tasks as assigned What Makes You a
Great Fit:
High School Diploma or GED Good math and measurement skills Strong mechanical and technical aptitude Proficiency using precision measurement tools such as rulers, tape measures, and calipers Ability to measure and interpret tight tolerances Strong attention to detail Basic computer skills Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics Strong desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Previous manufacturing or machine/equipment operation experience is helpful, but not required.
