Job Summary:
The Operator, Digital Press is responsible for all aspects of operating the digital printing equipment to production and quality standards. Presses that are included under "Digital Press":
Indigo, Wide Format, Dye Sublimation, Onset, Durst, Vutek, Spyder SHIFT:
6:00pm•6:00am, rotating, every 5 weeks between Mon•Wed and Thurs•
Sat Job Description:
Operate digital print equipment and the software necessary for print operations. Complete jobs according to customer specifications in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor production output throughout the run for quality. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal printing conditions. Ensure materials for the job are in stock and available for production. Properly document production information to account for all labor and materials consumed on a job. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Properly execute pressroom Safety Procedures? Act as a resource to Apprentice and Feeder Troubleshoot with the help of the Lead Operator Work overtime as needed. Other duties as assigned.

None Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Proficient in computer applications, including Mac and Windows operating systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION
Previous print industry experience. Experience using an ERP system.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to follow documented procedures. Ability to read and understand oral/written instructions proficiently. Ability to read and understand tape measure and other measuring equipment. Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions. Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation. Demonstrate a positive safety attitude.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent walking and standing. Manual dexterity for repetitive work. Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.

Yes Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish color.
