Production Apprentice, Second Shift

HALCON Furniture, located in Stewartville, MN, manufactures award-winning, modern office furniture of the highest quality. To meet increased demand for our innovative products, we are currently seeking a Production Apprentice on 2nd Shift to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will embrace the opportunity to contribute to their assigned Department and bring a positive attitude and strong organizational skills to a dedicated, fast-paced team.

Salary Range:

The starting range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour (plus shift differential). Career Job Security Responsibilities:

Perform various physical duties as assigned. Move, secure, install, build, load, and unloads materials. Perform some specialized tasks which may require on-the-job training. Effectively use heavy and light equipment, depending on assigned task. Handle and move material from place to place. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Use power tools and machinery when needed. Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

Able to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers. Have good attention to detail, as well as having a positive attitude. Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. Good at working independently and as an active member of a team. Previous working experience in a manufacturing environment.
