Materials Processor Reports to:Materials Manager Hours:
1st Shift (Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) Initial training may occur on a different shift than your regularly scheduled shift.Scope:
The Materials Processor is responsible for the daily material requirements of the production facility. The Materials Processor is also responsible for the blending, pulverizing, and reclaim/regrind machinery. The Materials Processor must lead by example in all areas of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Attendance, Attitude and Flexibility in the job.Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain a safe working environment for all individuals and promote constant use of PPE Consistently lead by example and act as a team player Housekeeping and organization of department Coach all on the shift to maximize safety, quality and performance Communicate daily with all materials team members as well as shift supervisors regarding material matters Operate virgin and regrind pulverizers according to schedule Clean and maintain pulverizers and dust collectors Operate all four material blenders Clean and maintain all 4 material blenders Operate hopper tilt attachment for fork lift Blend all production requirements of resin according to production planner/schedule Report all daily production of resin to IM department Fill out daily pulverizer data sheets Measure and weigh powder and deliver to appropriate work areas Understanding, application and maintaining of 5S program proceduresRequirements :
Excellent safety record Excellent communications skills Excellent attendance record Excellent quality record Excellent coaching and training skills Forklift certified Operate over head crane Must know how to operate floor scales/bench top scales Must be able to work successfully with minimal supervision Must be able to read and understand BOMs/Recipe Book Understanding of machine settings, minor maintenance, and preventative maintenance for the pulverizers, dust collectors, blenders, transfer systems and regrind machines Maintain safe, clean and organized work area Participation in monthly materials inventory Able to perform all duties ofRegrind/Reclaim Processor Job Type:
