Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plastics Processing Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain various plastics processing equipment, ensure quality standards are met, and troubleshoot production issues efficiently. Your expertise will help us deliver top-tier products while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing best practices. Relocation Assistance Available We offer relocation support and a temporary housing allowance for up to 30 days for eligible candidates. Must have a current Resume up to date to be considered Responsibilities Operate plastics processing machinery such as blow molding, injection molding, extrusion lines, and press brake machines to produce high-quality plastic components. Set up, adjust, and calibrate equipment including CNC lathes, robotic systems, and CNC machines for optimal performance. Conduct quality inspections using precision measurement instruments and dimensional measurements to ensure products meet specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial equipment, applying engineering troubleshooting techniques as needed. Handle materials safely using hand tools and warehouse experience to support materials handling and fabrication processes. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Document production data, quality checks, and machine performance logs accurately. Requirements Proven experience in plastics production processes such as blow molding, injection molding, or extrusion. Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC lathes, press brake machines, and robotic systems. Ability to operate hand tools and precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes. Familiarity with materials handling procedures within a manufacturing or warehouse setting. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot manufacturing or engineering issues effectively.
