Mixer Operator -
Job Description Position Summary:
The Mixer Operator is responsible for preparing and mixing ingredients according to precise formulas to support food production. This role ensures all batches meet quality, safety, and production standards while maintaining accurate documentation and efficient workflow.

Key ResponsibilitiesMeasure, weigh, and mix raw ingredients according to batch sheets and product specifications Operate and monitor industrial mixing equipment and related machinery Follow production schedules to meet daily output goals Verify ingredients, lot numbers, and quantities before and during mixing Ensure all mixes meet quality, consistency, and yield standards Record batch data, production logs, and material usage accurately Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of mixing equipment and work area Follow all food safety regulations (GMP, HACCP, SQF) and company policies Required Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in food manufacturing, batching, or mixing operations preferred Ability to follow detailed formulas and written instructions accurately Basic math skills for measurements and conversions Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production equipment Strong attention to detail and consistency Physical RequirementsAbility to lift 25-50+ lbs regularly Stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods Work in a fast-paced production environment Work EnvironmentFood manufacturing facility (may include flour, spices, and temperature variations) Requires PPE and adherence to strict food safety standards Team-oriented production setting
