Qualities include but are not limited to: Accurate Reading, Writing, and basic math skills. Safe operation of all equipment including but not limited to forklift and overhead crane.
FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
Safely set up and operate a Shear. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job travelers, and routers. Ability to measure and verify dimensions using a tape measure. Ability to calculate decimals and fractions figures. Ability to stack completed parts properly on carts or tables. Ability to load and unload raw material via Crane or Forklift. Have a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation, accountability, and responsibility. Good attendance. Must have the ability to work as a team. Organizational skills are a must. Ability to ensure proper use of PPE. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Reliable transportation is a must. Must be able to bend, twist, push and pull. Must pass a background check and drug test. Other duties as assigned by management.
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, and communicate well. Prior factory experience in operating a Shear is a plus.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
