Job Title:
Machine Operator Job Description This role supports a growing manufacturing plant during start‑up. You'll work hands‑on with new steel extrusion machines, help with assembly and operation, and perform general labor tasks to keep production running smoothly. Great fit for someone mechanically inclined, reliable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities Machine operation Machine assembly and installation for new steel extrusion equipment Tool and equipment cleaning including dies and molds Tape‑measure use for accurate production measurements Production support such as loading, unloading, and basic machine setups Hand tool use for assembly and adjustments Follow all safety procedures Essential Skills Machine operator experience Mechanical aptitude Hand tool proficiency Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Positive attitude in a changing start‑up environment Ability to follow safety rules and instructions Why Work Here? Work Environment This position is based in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing plant where conditions can be greasy and dirty. You will spend most of the day on your feet, with regular standing, stooping, and lifting as part of general labor and machine operation tasks. The environment includes active production areas with steel extrusion machinery, forklifts, tools, and industrial equipment, requiring adherence to safety practices and appropriate work attire suitable for a heavy industrial setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Robinsonville, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
