Knitting Machine Operator PFL Services Inc Burlington, NC Job Details Full-time $15 - $18 an hour 13 days ago Qualifications Sewing visual inspection Knit Textile knitting Machine operation Quality control experience within textile industry Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Overview We are looking to hire circular knitters who will be in charge of operating multiple circular knitting machines to create fabric to be used for mattress and bedding.

Shift:

1st 7:00 AM to 3:30

PM Location:

Burlington, NC Responsibilities:

Ensure the proper supply yarn is on creels. Assure the machine and creels are clean and threaded correctly. Continuously visually check machine and fabric for defects. Fill out knitting ticket properly and completely which includes defects on tickets. Be on the job on time, making the shift break effective with the leaving shift knitter(s). Adhere to break schedule and assure your break partner can handle the task effectively. Maintain high level of housekeeping essential to the efficient production of high quality knit fabrics. Seek continuous improvements. Be enthusiastic about creating exceptional products for our customers and being a positive motivational team member.

Requirements:

Physical ability to stand, walk and kneel on concrete floors, climb ladders, lift 20lb cones, move 75lb rolls, reach above head to stock creels, bend/stoop, pull materials and sufficient dexterity to thread machines and tie knots. Experience preferred but willing to train if the right candidate. Interview & Resume. Interested?
