Full Job Description Title:

Component Assembler (Light Mechanical)

Payrate:

$17/hr

•$18/hr

TRAINING TIME FOR 1ST WEEK

: 6 AM

•2:30 PM (With 10 hours shift till 4:30 PM Overtime) 2nd

Description:

Completes simple repeatable assembly operations of large or medium-sized components without use of machinery.

Responsibilities:

Ability to assemble components using various hand and power tools according to specifications. Ability to read blueprints and/or standard work instructions. Performs a variety of functions following prescribed procedures in product assembly and testing. Assemble components as required on time and according to quality specifications. Ability to identify improvement areas and effectively communicate ways to implement change. Maintain the cleanliness of workstation and assist with entire department housekeeping. High personal standards with regards to productivity, quality, and safety. Overtime and weekend hours may be assigned. Willingness to learn and operate in multiple stations within the department. Mandatory overtime and weekend hours are frequent and may be assigned as needed Good communication skills relative to supervisor and other related departments Exceptional customer service skills and a great teamwork are required. Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring instruments. One-year experience in manufacturing assembly.
