Job Description

Nesco Resource is hiring an exp. Machine Operator II / 1st shift for our Client in
Conover, NC Pay:
$16.00 hour / if solid work experience, will discuss a higher rate
Hours:
M-F 7a-3:30p
Position Summary:
The Machine Operator 2 is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring a variety of woodworking machines to produce quality wood components according to production specifications. This role requires intermediate machine operation skills, the ability to make machine adjustments, and consistent attention to safety and quality standards. Machine Operator 2 roles involve operating more complex machinery and processes than entry level positions and may require limited troubleshooting and setup adjustments. Boring Machine Pin Router Bell Miter Richardson Operator Miter Saw Rip Saw Cut Off Saw Glue Reel Operator Position Responsibilities:
Set up and operate assigned woodworking machinery safely and efficiently Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain quality and production standards Inspect parts for defects, accuracy, and conformance to specifications Perform trial runs and adjust tooling or machine settings as required Load, unload, and position materials and parts during production Select, install, and adjust saw blades, cutter heads, boring bits, and tooling using hand tools Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality guidelines Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Identify equipment issues and report concerns to the supervisor Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times COM135 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
