Packaging Team Leader The Packaging Team Leader assists shift supervision in providing direction and support to operators to ensure timeliness and accuracy in the completion of packaging batches. The Packaging Team Leader conducts training and participates in the more skilled work performed by Packaging Line Operators. Position Summary This position is 100% on-site at the Greenville site.

Shift:

Monday - Thursday 6 am - 4:30 pm Catalent's Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development. The Role With minimal supervision, provide direction to operators in the packaging and labeling of full commercial scale batches, scale-up, development and CTM batches. With minimal supervision, assemble, disassemble, clean and store packaging equipment. Document packaging and labeling steps in batch records accurately and completely as required and confirm documentation is completed with minimal errors. Perform start-up and in-process testing accurately and ensure proper documentation Complete QAD transactions for components and finished goods. Update work order when needed to complete batch. Recognize potential problems and provide input on corrective action(s). Lead SMEs in training staff. All other duties as assigned. The Candidate Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or; Associate degree with five years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry or; High School or equivalent with six years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Demonstrable relevant experience at Catalent (including, but not limited to, participation in Catalent-sponsored programs) may be considered in place of external experience. At least 6 months of experience successfully performing Lead duties required. Must be able to use QAD (inventory Management System) to assist in the timely start and completion of batches and documentation. Position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted, and push a maximum of 100 lbs. Majority of work day is performed while standing and walking. Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations. Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, and have full range of motion in upper and lower extremities. Exposure to moving machinery parts, and damp, humid and wet environments. This position requires that a respirator be worn for your safety, and as such, employment is contingent upon being able to complete a medical evaluation with satisfactory results.
