Temp to Hire ProStaffing is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Technician for a reputable manufacturing client in the Hickory area. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience setting up CNC machines for production runs. The Setup Technician is responsible for overseeing the machine changeover process—from the removal of the final part of the previous work order through to Quality Control approval of the first completed part for the next job. After successful check off by QC the set up person will: Change offsets on machines as needed. Change broken/work tooling on machines as needed. Prepare tooling for upcoming work orders. Load CNC machines as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred 2+ years of CNC setup experienceis required Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC programming is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Please apply only if you meet the required qualifications and submit a current, updated resume for consideration. #PSGS
