NOW HIRING - HEAT TREATER ASSISTANT

? High Point, NC ? $18.00/HR ? 1st

Shift:

Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM A local manufacturing company in High Point is looking for an Entry-Level Heat Treater Assistant to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning metal processing, industrial equipment, and manufacturing operations. Hands-on training will be provided. ?

JOB DUTIES

Review work orders and production instructions Verify materials, quantities, and specifications Load and unload metal parts into furnaces, racks, baskets, and quench tanks Assist Heat Treat Operators with various heat-treating processes Monitor furnace temperatures and processing times Inspect parts for visible defects or inconsistencies Maintain production and processing records Use measuring and testing equipment as trained Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, hoists, or forklifts when certified Keep work areas clean and organized Follow all safety, PPE, and quality requirements Assist with basic equipment cleaning and maintenance ✅

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma/GED preferred Manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required Ability to read and follow work orders and instructions Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand for extended periods Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus Reliable attendance and strong work ethic #LIND26
