POSITION DESCRIPTION

The cutting technician is responsible for properly functioning the cutting machine (The employee will be responsible for cutting fabric needed for production and utilizes job orders and cut patterns to successfully complete job tasks.

RESPONSBIBILITIES

• Pick the fabric rolls for cutting proposes
• Inspect material for defects prior to cutting
• Cut layers of fabric for multilayers cutting
• Feed the cutting machine with the layers
• Select the correct placement files in the machine software
• Unload the cutting machine
• Bundle the cut pieces for sewers
• Mark for defects, place and cut leather hives manually
• Setting up and shutting down the cutting machine
• Supports and assists sewers whenever necessary
• Inspect quality from domestic suppliers
• Basic maintenance upkeep of the cutting machine
• Assisting with Inventory
• Follow directives as given by the Production Supervisor Machine experience reads a rule, attention to detail, reads andwrites English.
