Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packing Associate to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specifications, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring quality control throughout the process. Duties Operate packaging equipment and hand tools to assemble, pack, and seal products securely for shipment Interpret production documents and standard operating procedures to ensure accurate packaging processes Handle materials with care, utilizing forklift and material handling equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols Conduct quality checks on packaged items to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery and perform basic maintenance or escalate as necessary Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines, FDA regulations, and safety standards in all packaging activities Assist in warehouse operations by organizing materials, performing heavy lifting safely, and maintaining a clean work environment Requirements Previous experience in manufacturing or packaging environments preferred, especially within regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or food production Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and assembly of packaging components Familiarity with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and safety standards in production settings Ability to interpret production documents and use basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts is a plus, with certification preferred Strong attention to detail, safety protocol adherence, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment Join us in a dynamic role where your skills will directly impact our product quality and customer satisfaction.
