Must be available for any shift , including overtime and weekends What You'll Do Day-to-Day Configure and manage various manual and CNC machine tools to fabricate precise components Analyze blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to define necessary machining steps Determine tooling requirements, feeds, speeds, and dimensions by applying shop mathematics Execute machining tasks such as milling, drilling, grinding, boring, and honing Utilize precision measurement equipment to verify part accuracy and ensure quality compliance Help maintain consistent production standards by monitoring processes through statistical and quality control methods Improve part quality by deburring and finishing components to exact specifications Ensure equipment reliability by performing basic machine maintenance such as lubrication, filter changes, and coolant checks Facilitate efficient production by moving materials within the facility and managing workflow Contribute to overall team success by assisting and training fellow operators Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by adhering to safety, OSHA, and FOD prevention practices Engage in ongoing professional development to work toward MVP qualification Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of CNC machine operator experience Comprehensive understanding of machine operations, tooling, and machining processes Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Experience utilizing precision measuring instruments Knowledge of safety, quality, and OSHA standards Strong verbal and written communication skills in English High School Diploma or GED (or WorkKeys Assessment completion) Flexibility to work various shifts, overtime, and weekends Ability to complete required training (Health & Safety, Aircraft Familiarization, Quality Training) Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of aviation or aerospace production experience Formal certification or training in machining or machine operations Background in a high-precision manufacturing environment Why Join Us?
