Day Shift Pay:

$19/hour + production incentives

Schedule:

12-hour Day Shift (2-2-3 schedule) , 5:30 AM - 6:00 PM (or until production is complete) Job Summary We are looking for a Machine Operator to safely operate production equipment in a brick manufacturing facility. This role helps keep production running efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Operate machinery to meet production goals. Perform machine setups, adjustments, and product changeovers. Monitor equipment and report or help troubleshoot issues. Use hand tools for basic maintenance and repairs. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout. Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly. Assist other operators and learn additional plant functions as needed. Qualifications Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Ability to stand, walk, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods. Willingness to cross-train and learn new skills. Work Environment Brick manufacturing facility with indoor and outdoor work areas. Non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to heat, cold, dust, dirt, and mud. PPE required, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, and safety vest. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31200.00 - $39520.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
