Monday-Thursday Nights (6pm-6am) Required training would be 6am-6pm for a month or less.
Compensation:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour plus shift differential About the Role We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Machine Operator to run high‑speed converting and packaging equipment in our wet wipe manufacturing facility. This role is critical to producing consistent, high‑quality products that meet FDA, ISO, and customer standards. You'll set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with hygiene requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor, and adjust high‑speed wet wipe converting and packaging machines to meet production targets. Perform machine setups, changeovers, and line clearances according to SOPs. Conduct quality checks on wipes, solution saturation, seal integrity, lot codes, and packaging appearance. Maintain accurate production, downtime, and quality documentation . Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate mechanical problems to maintenance when needed. Follow all GMP, FDA, ISO, and plant hygiene standards , including proper gowning and sanitation. Ensure raw materials (nonwoven rolls, canisters, lids, solution) are loaded correctly and replenished as needed. Work closely with packers, leads, and maintenance to keep the line running efficiently. Participate in safety programs , hazard reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S expectations. Qualifications Previous experience operating machinery in manufacturing , ideally in wet wipes, paper products, food, pharma, or other regulated environments . Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment quickly. Ability to read and follow SOPs, production schedules, and quality standards. Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interfaces (HMI). Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent changeovers. Excellent attendance and reliability. Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and operate equipment for 8-12 hour shifts . Lift up to 50 lbs as needed (materials, rolls, boxes). Bend, reach, pull, and perform repetitive motions. Work in a climate‑controlled but active production environment.
