Job Description Work Schedule:
5X8 1st Shift = Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm
Responsibilities:

Perform manufacturing operations associated with producing proof of concept demonstrators and prototypes. Use advanced weaving/injection knowledge and critical thinking to produce as designed concepts per engineering instructions. Use diagnostic and communication skills to be the interface between engineering and manufacturing. Must have the ability to communicate what has been experienced and or seen. Accurately and efficiently set up equipment per engineering instructions. Execute daily autonomous maintenance and start-up activities. Perform unconventional or highly prototypical processes. Assist in developing improvement methods and practices to increase predictability safely. • Accurately complete/create documentation associated with development processes. Attention to detail a must. Reflect reality of what has been done. Perform timely and accurate transactions of workflow in ERP system. Assist in performing required process capability studies, equipment installation qualifications, and process validation. Assist in the investigation and implementation of new equipment, process and products as required. Active participant on R&T teams /audits such as Safety Team or Job Hazard analysis. Utilize RCCA tools. Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety regulations, personal protective equipment requirements, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and Good Manufacturing Procedures Responsible for upkeep of development areas and provide a clean and safe work environment. Review all documentation, assembly, inspection, test, packaging procedures and provide feedback Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education/Skills Qualifications/Characteristics:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (aerospace or composites a plus). Preferred 5 years of relevant experience in our processes (Weaving /Injection) Ability to read and interpret engineering instructions. Physical demands of the job include: stooping, crouching, walking, pulling, light lifting (up to 25 pounds), grasping, hearing, visual acuity, kneeling, reaching, pushing, talking, standing, fingering and climbing Must be able to operate across multiple platforms/
Processes Working Conditions:
Indoor production environment, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures. Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts. Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations required, overtime dependent on business need.
Physical requirements:
Frequently positions sheets of material onto molds and/or manually sands parts, etc... Frequent repetitive hand movements, use of hand tools - pliers, sanders, scissors, etc... Frequently remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time Must be able to detect and recognize visual differences between materials or parts, etc...
