Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Thermoforming Machine Operator to run our plastic-forming production lines. In this role, you will set up machinery, monitor production runs, inspect product quality, and package finished goods. Your focus will be on maintaining a steady production pace while ensuring all items meet exact quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Safely start up, operate, and shut down high-speed thermoforming machines, trim presses, and grinders.
Quality Control:
Inspect formed plastic parts for defects like thin spots, webbing, or improper trim cuts using calipers and gauges.
Setup & Adjustments:
Assist with mold changes and adjust machine parameters (such as heat zone temperatures, cycle times, and air pressure) to fix quality issues.
Material Handling:
Load plastic rolls or sheets into the machine feeds and safely manage scrap grind material.
Packaging & Logging:
Pack finished products into boxes, label pallets correctly, and log production numbers and downtime hours.
Safety & Upkeep:
Follow all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) rules, keep your work area clean, and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing plant (plastics or packaging experience is a major plus).
Technical Aptitude:
Comfort using basic hand tools, measuring devices, and digital control panels. Attention to
Detail:
Ability to spot visual product flaws quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Stamina:
Capacity to stand for long shifts, perform repetitive packing movements, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Must be bilingual
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 48.0 per week
