Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30
PM Pay Rate:
$20-$22 per hour, depending on experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Filling Operator to join our Filling Line Department. This department operates the primary machinery used to produce nail strips. The selected candidate will receive training on the specific equipment; however, previous machine-operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required . Candidates must also be comfortable working with acetone, color solutions, and other production materials while following strict safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities Prepare the filling line and assigned equipment for daily production. Operate and monitor machinery used in the manufacturing of nail strips. Safely load barrels with acetone and color solutions according to established procedures. Assist with equipment setup and troubleshooting, including dies, pumps, speeds, lips, scales, and related components. Monitor machine performance and report opportunities for improvement. Report equipment malfunctions, production issues, and safety concerns to the Lead, Captain, Supervisor, or Manager. Follow all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and quality-control protocols. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling production materials. Maintain knowledge of assigned equipment and production processes. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management. Complete special assignments and other duties as required. Qualifications Previous machine-operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment required . Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment-troubleshooting skills. Ability to safely work with acetone, color solutions, and other production materials. Ability to follow detailed safety, quality-control, and GMP procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions.
