Packaging Technician/Mechanic Job Description Manufacturing Facility in Howell (Farmingdale), New Jersey Our cosmetic manufacturing plant hopes to find a qualified applicant to fill the open position of Packaging Technician/Mechanic. Responsibilities:

To provide maintenance support for the Manufacturing area Sets up, takes down and relocates all packaging equipment using Set Up Work Instructions. Ensures lines are operating to meet production schedule and targets Responsible for repairs, running adjustments, preventative and breakdown maintenance and trouble shooting Ensures accurate process documentation and down-time activities Ensures proper clean-up, parts and tools are put away when activities are complete Identifies routine and unique problems with equipment Recommends solutions to routine and unique equipment problems Validates that implementation of solution is correct and equipment is operating and working properly Communicates with other mechanics and supervisor of key issues or potential issues Assemble, Disassemble, repair and set up all packaging machinery within set guidelines Work with liquid filling equipment, labelers, cartoners, ink jet printers and over-wrappers Replace simple electrical devices, such as, motors, fuses, and switches with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

Understand GMP's, SOP's, Lock Out Tag Out, and OSHA regulations Two years of relevant work experience Experience with liquid fillers, labelers, cartoners, ink jet printers, over-wrappers Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

$43,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
