6:45 am - 3:15 pm M-FThe saw operator is responsible for accurately cutting vinyl profiles to specified dimensions using industrial saw equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window unitsSet up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specificationsEnsure high-quality welds to meet production standardsOperate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniquesEnsure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding processEnsures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections /audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concernInspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairsMaintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiencyWork in other areas where required.

QualificationsMust be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shiftStrong attention to detail and qualityKnowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tapeAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measureBe able to recognize material by shape and colorCapable of using computerized equipmentPhysical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positionsMust cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complexHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous manufacturing, production, or saw operation experience is an asset.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
