Apply labels to the corresponding glass units and paperwork to batch cartsPerform quality checks accuratelyOrder repair units using the scanning systemConsistently hold cycle time of the lineMovement of carts in and out of production work area Communicate quality issues observed either upstream or downstream of their positionCommunicate mechanical issues with the machines to leadership or maintenance staffQualificationsQualifications Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for duration of entire shift.
Must have basic computer knowledge. Ordering repairs requires the use of scanner and PC.Ability to work in an organized and detailed fashion. Labels must be in sequence and on correct units along with cart paperwork.
Basic reading and writing in English. Quality checks must be filled out completely, Quality instruments require understanding how to measure; such as measuring tape, caliper, machine display readings, Go/No-Go gauge, etc.
Ability to locate minor quality defects in glass, grids and spacersMust cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex. Ability to comprehend written work instructions, standard work and quality documents Ability to move carts of glass in and out of production areas 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

The QC Checker/Labeler is responsible for the fabrication and production of Insulated Glass (IG) units on the Intercept Glass Lines.
